Schmit Prototypes started out in 1980 specializing in cast urethane parts and visual models, and we soon established a stellar reputation for quality in these niche markets. The business gradually increased its capacity to satisfy the changing demands of its customers. A major advancement in the range of manufacturing solutions provided was made possible by the smooth integration of services like CNC Machining, 3D Printing, and Injection Molding (both tooling and molded parts) into its repertoire. Schmit Prototypes grew steadily from its modest beginnings in a garage to its current 15,000 square foot facility. With time, the facility grew, reaching an impressive 80,000 square feet. Modern manufacturing machinery can be housed in this bigger area, enabling a wide range of production services.
