In 1982, Swift Atlanta was established in Suwanee, Georgia. The company started out as a producer of high-quality custom sheet metal components and assemblies for the electronic and communications sectors. Upon its establishment, Swift Atlanta resolved to be a full-service provider and to conduct all manufacturing processes internally. This was done to ensure complete oversight of product quality and adherence to promised delivery timelines. At first, our customers accepted the concept very well, and over time it has shown to be important for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Swift Atlanta had outgrown its original building of 18,000 square feet within seven years. The business relocated to its current site in 1990, where it occupies 54,000 square feet.
