Jose Carlos Rey Gargamala established the "Technisches Büro Rey" in Düsseldorf in early 1992.

In 1994, the firm Garces and Rey GbR in Ratingen arose, offering a technical office as well as contract production of standard machining and welding work.

The good order situation persisted, therefore the first CNC-controlled equipment were purchased in 1996 to broaden the portfolio.

In 2006, the number of personnel and machinery hit an all-time high.

For continued expansion, the company invested in a new industrial building at its current location in Ratingen in 2007.

The financial crisis struck the entire industry severely in 2009.

However, with a strong workforce, dedication, and financial expertise, the company was able to overcome this issue.
