With a career trajectory initially aimed at Mechanical Engineering, Josh’s path naturally led him into the realm of Computer-Aided Design/Drafting. Utilizing the opportunity to graduate high-school prepared for college as well as articulated credits through the Mechanical Engineering and Design Graphics program at the Frederick County Career & Technology Center, Josh began work before graduation at a local custom metal fabricator, before heading off to college. Fueled by a commitment to staying abreast of the latest technologies, he accumulated expertise in CAD platforms like AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, Pro-E Wildfire, and Helix (MicroCadam). Mechanical Engineer personnel use computers to design parts and equipment. Drawing from over two decades of experience in mechanical design and project management, Josh founded JB Technical Solutions. The company’s early focus on PC repair and maintenance quickly evolved to fully utilize Josh’s skillset and meet the demands of the market. Today, JB Technical Solutions is positioned as a comprehensive drafting/design-based service with IT capabilities, serving the needs of local manufacturers and businesses. Our company is dedicated to adaptability, addressing the varied requirements of businesses at the local, regional, and national levels. Whether it’s providing on-site support for CAD detailing/designing or CNC programming, or offering offsite design/detailing services from concept to completion.
