During World War II, when Europe needed to be rebuilt, the United States supplied the resources, and our company's founder, Michael Girard, started off working as a purchasing agent for France. We focused on rubber products since domestic sellers were pricey and disorganized. Beginning with a Japanese partner, we battled the unfavorable post-war perceptions of Japan and Japanese goods. We have built partnerships with business partners in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Brazil throughout the ensuing decades.
