We envision a world where creation has no barriers. Where the idea of building a rocket, solving climate change, inventing the next lifesaving medical device can all be created with ease. Fictiv was founded by two brothers, Nate and Dave Evans, to simplify sourcing and eliminate the major bottlenecks in supply chain and manufacturing. Dave Evans studied Mechanical Engineering at Stanford and started his career in automotive as the first hire for Ford’s Innovation Lab in Silicon Valley. It was here that he saw the true barriers to innovation through studying the development cycles of infotainment systems attempting to bring in the next generation of consumer devices. Meanwhile, with a Master's in Chinese from Stanford, Nate Evans started his career in investment banking, studying ad-tech markets and the cycles of technology disruption in traditional industries. In 2013, they set out to eliminate traditional supply chains to unlock the world’s creative potential. Traditional supply chains are fragmented, slow, inflexible, non-scalable, and fraught with quality issues and delays making it nearly impossible to scale innovation and get products to market faster. Fictiv helps solve today’s most intractable supply chain challenges.
